Why is this training necessary? Civic knowledge and public engagement are at an all-time low. Without an understanding of the structure of government; rights and responsibilities; and methods of public engagement, civic literacy, and voter apathy will continue to plague American democracy. This courseware will help you conceptually understand the State, Local, and Education marketplace (public sector) and how ‘they’ make a living… At the completion, you will have a grasp on each segment of government within SLEd and know what the function is of an agency, department, or collection thereof.
